Santa 2009

Ethan was all about going to see Santa this year. He sat on his lap for a really long time and eventually I had to drag him away! He made sure and told Santa what Owen wanted too. Such a good big brother! The picture isn't the greatest but oh well. Ethan isn't into taking pictures lately. He's got this fake grin thing going. He's soooo much like Zann.

P.S. If you go to Quail to visit Santa, go first thing in the morning. We went at 10:30 this morning and were the only ones there. No long lines to deal with and more time with St. Nick!

Owen's Nursery

I finally finished Owen's nursery. Come follow me around...

My mom got Owen those tiny little white satin shoes. They have his monogram on them. I'm scared for him to wear them b/c I don't want them to get dirty. They are soooo adorable.

I LOVE the way Owen's nursery turned out! It's so cozy in there.

My boys this morning. Ethan was playing with his rock collection...thanks to Pepaw's smuggling skills. He brought them back from Scotland. Pepaw actually collected the rocks himself off a shore in Scotland. So cool! You can tell Owen is pumped about Ethan's rock collection.

A not-so-great picture of me but I'm with my boys so I guess I need to get over it.

My latest project...I'm super excited to reveal what I did with these clearance canvases I purchased at Hobby Lobby ages ago for $1.97 each. Wait til you see what I did with them!

A sweet lady I used to work with got Owen this adorable ghost onesie. He's pretty cute!

It was dress up day at Ethan's 'school' yesterday and he went as Bumblebee the Transformer. I'm not a huge fan of the costume (it's not very cute) but oh well. Ethan's happy so I'm happy.

2 Months

I think he's grown!

2 Month Check Up

Owen had his 2 month appointment with the pedi today. He's growing like a weed...11 lbs 11 ozs (50th percentile) and 23 inches long (75th percentile)! Shots were horrible. I guess I had forgotten how bad they can be. Ethan always recovered pretty quick but not this little guy. He cried for a while after and it just broke my heart. He's relaxing in his swing now with an occasional pester from big brother so all is good. I still can't believe that Owen will be 2 months on Sunday! And Ethan is about a month away from turning 4! Seriously?!? Wish I could keep them little forever!

Funny Faces

Owen has always had some of the funniest expressions. I got the camera out the other night and these are some I caught...

He's doing great! Eats like a madman and sleeps good too. He's starting to talk and smile which is so cute! We're enjoying him more and more each day. Big bro, Ethan, just loves his little bro. They are going to have so much fun together!

P.S. Owen is 7.5 weeks old and weighs about 12 lbs! He's already in size 2 diapers!
